Make Your Reservations Now!
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that the Cass Lake campground Chippewa
Loop is now open for reservations. The reunion is Aug 11-13, 2006.
The website to make your campsite reservation is www.reserveusa.com.
I just made mine for site #98. There were already a couple of sites
reserved, so I would recommend making your reservation as soon as
possible. Please pass on the information.
Hope to see you all at the Kooyer Reunion 2006!
Sandy
P.S. This information was also posted under the Reunions tab at the top of this page.
It may be a good idea to reserve a camp site even if you’re not sure you can make it. That way if someone in the family shows up unprepared and needs a site we can arrange for a transfer of the reservation (or simply use the site).

Since there is no official reunion committee or person organizing the reunion, please be sure to pass on the dates to your families. The date and location for this year’s reunion was selected at the last reunion. Is there anyone out there who would like to take charge of the 2006 reunion? Mary did it last time, and Shirley did for several years, so I guess it’s time for another branch of the Kooyer tree to take over for a while!

Hi All – Just a suggestion Vanessa…the Norway Beach area still has places to reserve a spot to camp if you haven’t booked anything yet. I see that they ARE all booked up on the Chippewa Loop. The Norway Beach location is a campground when you first come into the park..on the left. Anyway, it’s not that far away from the main group, but will probably be the overflow campground. Cousin Lorri said she was going to reserve something there as she too hadn’t reserved anything yet. Anyway, it’s just a suggestion.
Hey Adam, disregard my e-mail..I figured out how this works!
Thanks Sandy for the suggestion someone else “volunteer” for the official reunion committee…will be fun to see how it works out this year with everyone just winging it!
Hi Ray! I assume you will be coming right?
Anyway, not sure who from my family will be there, but I am planning on it…so will be fun to see everyone. Gotta run..work calls…there is that nasty word again WORK!!! BYE!

Thank you Adam…you are so good at this. I guess it helps when you take the “CAP LOCKS” off on your keyboard.
) This should be fun once we get on a roll! Mary

Your welcome!

Andy just created an account and I approved it.

So it looks like we’re just going to have to take over all of Cass Lake when we get there.

Howdy all, Glad to see that I am not the last to log on. Adam, can’t thank you enough for doing this. Just wish I had something exciting to post or show you all. Unfortunatly the Daniels are still in limbo about the reunion. The month of Aug. fill up to fast for us. (yes, we knew it was coming up). We don’t have our site booked yet. I did hear that my mother has reserved 3sites, BUT all of my brothers are going to be there…YIKES! I wanted to get a head count of how a many cousins are going to be there. I am not packing up my kids driving for 4 hours to see my brothers!! LOL. Hope to see you all soon!

Hi All! It was great to see everyone at the reunion! Adam looks like you were elected by? to be the chair of the next reunion. I have no doubt you’ll do a great job.
I do have a suggestion and want to put it out to all of us folks out there for comment and thought. This past Monday I was out with my daughters and grandkids at Pattison State Park and took a tour of the park campgrounds and facilities. It’s SO nice! The beach is perfect, the falls are wonderful for site seeing, there is a nature trail that goes around the lake, they have volleyball nets and playing area set-up, an area for horseshoes, there is showers, changing houses etc. I really think (although Uncle Jim would object I am sure) that this would be the perfect place to located our next reunion. Cass Lake is beautiful too, but it’s just a camping area. Just a thought..so I figured I’d put it out for discussion. Also for those who want to fish…there is Amnicon Lake not too far away that has muskies in it…etc. AND there is a golf course only a few miles away from the park AND it’s not that far for those who want to stay in town. THOUGHTS please!! Mary
