{"id":44,"date":"2009-04-02T11:25:58","date_gmt":"2009-04-02T16:25:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kooyer.com\/?p=44"},"modified":"2009-04-02T11:29:51","modified_gmt":"2009-04-02T16:29:51","slug":"2009-reunion-details","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kooyer.com\/?p=44","title":{"rendered":"2009 Reunion Details:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Ladies and Gentlemen (and the rest) of the Kooyer clan of Minnesota, here are the initial details of the reunion for 2009:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Particulars:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Where: <\/strong>Cass Lake, Norway Beach:\u00a0 Chippewa Loop and Norway Loop<\/li>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> August, 7th, 8th and 9th, 2009<\/li>\n<li><strong>Time:<\/strong> Whenever you arrive.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Who:<\/strong> You and yours!\u00a0 Or is that <em>us and ours<\/em>? As I find out who is attending this year I will post a list on this site and point you to the link.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regarding Chippewa Loop:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As many of you know with the slump in the economy, camping is at an <em>all time high<\/em> this year.\u00a0 All national camp sites are booking up at record speeds.\u00a0\u00a0 I apologize for not getting on top of this a little sooner, but I assure you I&#8217;m doing everything I can to help make the event worthwhile!<\/p>\n<p>Chippewa Loop is booked full.\u00a0 Today I reserved the last 4 campsites under my name at $56 each for the weekend&#8211;That&#8217;s two nights for Fri and Sat at $28 including cancellation fees.\u00a0 I know some of the family has already booked reservations at this site.\u00a0 I do not know who.\u00a0 For those of you who <em>must<\/em> have a Chippewa Loop camp site you should contact me as soon as possible to get one.\u00a0 I am not taking any of the spots for myself so there are currently four available.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>These campsites are RV equipped.<\/li>\n<li>10 Persons per site are allowed.<\/li>\n<li>You may have either 1 RV and 1 Tent or 2 tents per site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regarding the Norway Loop:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the larger loop.\u00a0\u00a0 There are 30 available sites as\u00a0 I type this.\u00a0 I expect by the end of today or tomorrow to have the Chippewa spots that I reserved booked for family members.\u00a0\u00a0 If you don&#8217;t mind where you are on Norway Beach and are active and able to move about easily I suggest you book here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Picnic Shelter &amp; Activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have reserved the Picnic Shelter at Norway Beach for the entire day Saturday.\u00a0 Some suggested activities that include the use of this shelter have been:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A picnic.\u00a0 (How novel!)<\/li>\n<li>A large game of Uno! (Bring a deck or two&#8211;we&#8217;ll use &#8217;em!)<\/li>\n<li>Cribbage tournament!<\/li>\n<li>Bring a Board game&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Other card games!<\/li>\n<li>A party in the evening?
